BGHS seniors return to W.R. McNeill for one final walkthrough

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Graduating seniors from Bowling Green High School walked through the hallways of their elementary schools this morning.

The walk allowed students to see how far they’ve come and to see the teachers they grew up.

Elementary students outlined the hallways of W.R. Mcneill Elementary, cheering on the seniors who walked through and giving them high fives. The tradition presents a bittersweet moment when they are going off to pursue their careers.

When asked about their favorite teachers from elementary school, this is what some BGHS students had to say:

“Mrs. Wilder, she’s just the best and always happy and always encouraging,” said London Lightning.

“Yeah, Mrs. Wilder for the same reasons,” said another.

Kaylee McDonald said, “Mrs. Howard. I work here now so she’s my, she’s who I like teacher ed for, so she’s probably my favorite teacher. I’ve had the closest relationship with her.”

The teachers of course were excited to see their former students as well.
