Bestselling author of ‘The Maid’ to be hosted at Capitol theatre

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Warren County Public Library is presenting an event with a bestselling author and editor in Bowling Green.
Nita Prose, the #1 New York Times bestselling author of “The Mystery Guest” and “The Maid,” will be at the Capitol on Sunday, Nov. 17 at 3 p.m. The library says over two million copies of her books have been sold worldwide.
Prose will discuss her latest book, “The Mistletoe Mystery: A Maid Novella,” and share her writing journey.
With over two decades in publishing, the library says Prose has worked alongside multiple well-known authors. Her work is known for its strong, character-driven narratives and suspenseful plotlines, according to WCPL.
In addition, the library says “The Maid” was a Good Morning America Book Club pick and has received several awards, along with recognition from Stephen King, who “praised the protagonist, Molly the Maid, as ‘the most interesting (and endearing) main character in a long time.'”
“The Maid” has been translated into multiple languages and also optioned for a major motion picture; Academy Award nominee Florence Pugh is producing and starring in the film.
Admission to the event is free. Tickets may be reserved at warrenpl.org.
