Beshear reminds Kentuckians to remain aware ahead of storms

SOUTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY – With severe weather entering our area through Wednesday, it’s important to be weather aware.

During an announcement earlier Tuesday, Gov. Andy Beshear stressed the importance of preparing, as much of Kentucky is under a severe weather threat.

According to the National Weather Service, straight-line winds, large hail, flash flooding and tornadoes will all be possible with storms on Tuesday and Wednesday. Beshear says now is the time to get your game plan together.

“We have been through all of those, and we have seen how deadly they can be,” Beshear says. “So we need everyone to take action now by making a plan to keep yourself and your family safe.”
