Barren County Middle School, Trojan Academy, and Barren County High School went on a soft lockdown this morning as a precaution. School administrators worked with the Barren County Sheriff’s Department to investigate an issue that was determined to be a non-credible report. The lockdown has now been lifted, but additional law enforcement will remain on campus as a precautionary measure. Student and staff safety is our top priority, and out of an abundance of caution, any potential safety issues are taken seriously.
