Simpson County magistrate charged with DUI

FRANKLIN, Ky. – A Simpson County Sheriff’s deputy arrested Simpson County Magistrate Marty Chandler Thursday on a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs second offense. A deputy noticed Chandler’s vehicle at 12:59 a.m. Thursday on Blackjack Road and took note that the vehicle’s license plate was not illuminated, according to his arrest citation….

GREENVILLE, Ky. – A Greenville man is accused of shooting his son to death Saturday.
