Austin Reed Named Quarterback for WKU Football’s 2022 Season

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — The quarterback situation has been up in the air all summer for Tops Football after Bailey Zappe was drafted by the New England Patriots.

Tyson Helton announced Thursday evening that Austin Reed will be the 2022 starting quarterback here on the Hill.

This is big news but was expected after West Virginia transfer, Jarret Doege left the WKU program earlier this week.

The Tops kick off their season next Saturday against Austin Peay.
