Auburn man dead following single-vehicle accident

AUBURN, Ky. – An Auburn man died Wednesday night after a single-vehicle wreck on Lewisburg Road, according a social media post by WRUS Radio.

The post further stated authorities reported that Jason Brown, 46, of Auburn was driving southbound when his vehicle drove off the roadway and struck a concrete culvert before overturning several times.

Brown was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle, stated the post.

WRUS stated Brown was pronounced dead at the scene by the Logan County Coroner.

A sheriff’s department report stated “alcohol, excessive speed and weather related roadway conditions” are believed to be contributing factors, according to the post.

The investigation is ongoing by the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.
