Appointments still available at Kroger vaccination site

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Kroger announced on Wednesday that they still have appointments available for this Thursday, Friday and Saturday at their Bowling Green COVID-19 vaccination site. 

People in the state’s current vaccination phase of 1b can make an appointment by visiting Kroger’s website. Phase 1b includes individuals aged 70 and older, first responders, K-12 school personnel, and child care workers. 

The site is at the former Sears building at Greenwood Mall. There is no charge to individuals and insurance status is not a barrier for vaccination. 

“We want to make sure that we maximize our capacity at this site. It is a very efficient process. Patients can expect to spend no more than 30-45 minutes most times to come in and go through the entire experience from registration to observation,” said Kroger Health and Wellness leader Jeremy Crain.
