Annual Used Book Sale to raise funds for local library this September

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Friends of the Library Warren County has announced the 2024 Used Book Sale.

The four-day fundraising event will offer a range of items, including books, LPs, CDs, DVDs, puzzles and games, with sales supporting the Warren County Public Library.

According to a release by WCPL, the event is schedule for Sept. 12-15.

Event Schedule 

• Thursday, September 12: 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. (Friends-only Preview Night)
  Current FOL members are invited to enjoy an exclusive preview of the sale. Not a member? Sign up or renew your membership on site. Membership forms will be available for those interested in joining.
• Friday, September 13: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Saturday, September 14: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Sunday, September 15: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. (Bag Day)
  On Bag Day, shoppers can fill a bag with books and other media for $1.

Proceeds from the sale support the library’s services, programs and resources, the release says. The funds raised will help FOL continue to enhance the library’s offerings and provide valuable community services, such as the Summer Reading Program.
