MONTICELLO, Ky. – An Amber Alert has been canceled for a 7-month-old from Monticello, Kentucky.

According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Jocelyn Lair went missing June 9. The alert went out to devices Friday around 11:40 p.m., followed by an updated alert later that night.

Jocelyn Lair was described as a white 7-month-old female with brown hair and hazel eyes. A photograph was not provided of the child or mother.

Jocelyn Lair was last seen while in the company of her mother, Shelley Lair, a 39-year-old female.

The 7-month-old was believed to be in great danger “due to the mother’s drug use and child past exposure and overdose,” according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. DCBS had an emergency custody order for the child, officials say.
