Allen County traffic stop leads to drug charges

SCOTTSVILLE, KY – On Friday, the Allen County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop in the area of Cottage Drive on a vehicle driven by Bryan Neeley of Alvaton, Kentucky.  After Deputies stopped the vehicle, they placed Neely under arrest due to active warrants. A K-9 unit was deployed to conduct an open-air sniff test around the vehicle, resulting in a positive alert.

During the search, authorities say the passenger of the vehicle, Ashley Goosetree, was found to be in possession of narcotics along with several items consistent with trafficking narcotics.  Both Neeley and Goosetree were placed under arrest and taken to the Allen County Detention Center, where they now face several charges.
