Allen County Schools to operate on one-hour delay on Wednesday

ALLEN COUNTY, Ky. – Allen County Schools will operate on a one-hour delay on Wednesday, Feb. 4, according to the district’s social media page on Tuesday.

“We are planning to have school; however, we recognize there may still be some roads that are not passable by bus. In those cases, your child’s bus driver will contact you directly about a possible alternate pickup location,” stated Allen County Schools News/Photos.

If further changes are needed due to any weather updates, the district says it will communicate this by 7 a.m. Wednesday.

As of Tuesday night, additional school impacts include Warren County Schools and Metcalfe County Schools, which will utilize an NTI day on Wednesday. Hart County Schools will also be closed, instead having a “Raider Day.”
