Adoption fees to be reduced for Empty the Shelters
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Fifteen animal shelters across Kentucky are reducing adoption fees next month.
Bissell Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters is back this July with reduced adoption fees to help find pets their forever home. The foundation says adoption fees will be just $50 or less at participating shelters.
The event lasts from July 8-31.
The area shelters taking part in the event include the following:
- Bowling Green/Warren County Humane Society
- Breckinridge County Animal Shelter
- Clark County Animal Shelter
- Friends of Butler County Animals
- Humane Society Of Henderson County
- Kenton County Animal Services
- Kentucky Humane Society
- Lawrence County Humane Society
- Leitchfield Animal shelter
- Lexington Humane Society
- Logan County Humane Society
- Louisville Metro Animal Services
- McCracken County Humane Society
- Paris Animal Welfare Society Inc.
- Scott County Humane Society
Overall, Empty the Shelters serves as a national call for adoption, extending beyond Kentucky.
