ADHD medication recalled due to pill mix-up

(CNN) – An important prescription drug recall is affecting an ADHD and narcolepsy medicine.
Azurity Pharmaceuticals has recalled some of its Zenzedi tablets after a different drug ended up in the pill bottle.
The company says it issued the recall after some of the tablets had an anti-histamine medicine called Carbinoxamine maleate mixed in the package.
Zenzedi is a stimulant used for the treatment of ADHD and narcolepsy.
Carbinoxamine is a sedative and has the opposite effect of a stimulant.
The recall warned people who take the antihistamine instead of Zenzedi could experience drowsiness.
That could put patients at risk of getting into an accident or injuring themselves.
The company says it has not received reports of anyone getting hurt because of the medicine mix-up.
