Additional warming centers available Thursday through Sunday

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The City of Bowling Green has released an updated list of additional warming centers open this week.

For those who are unhoused or without heat in their home, the following locations will be available:

• The Salvation Army at 401 West Main St. from Jan. 17-21 during daytime hours.
• Christ Episcopal Church at 1215 State St. on Jan. 17 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Kummer/Little Recreation Center at 333 College St. from Jan. 18-19 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• The Capitol Theatre at 416 E. Main St. on Jan. 20 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

If you need shelter overnight, you can find warming centers at the Salvation Army at its overnight overflow shelter, or Room in the Inn, which can register clients from 4 to 8 p.m.
