Absentee mail-in voting begins
BARREN COUNTY, KY.- Absentee mail-in voting officially began last weekend, and residents across the Commonwealth are eagerly exercising their right to vote. This option is especially beneficial for college students, military personnel and new residents, ensuring their voices are heard in the upcoming election. We spoke with Barren County Clerk Helena Birdwell, who emphasized the importance of participation in the electoral process. “I think it’s so important for our voters in Kentucky just to get out and vote, and get ahead if you are voting with an absentee ballot.” Birdwell stated.
