Bowling Green remembers Breonna Taylor

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – About 50 people gathered in downtown Bowling Green Saturday to remember the life of Breonna Taylor.

Saturday marks one year since Taylor was killed in Louisville. The BG Freedom Walkers organized the service here.

Taylor was killed by police in Louisville when they forced their way into her apartment to serve a search warrant. Police and Taylor’s boyfriend exchanged gunfire which resulted in one officer getting shot and another officer facing criminal charges related to the shooting incident that day.

Saturday those who gathered in Bowling Green were somber as they remembered Taylor and the circumstances of her death.
