Injured Djokovic advances to quarters at Australian Open
MELBOURNE, Australia (AP) — Novak Djokovic says wouldn’t be playing this week if there wasn’t a Grand Slam title on the line. The eight-time Australian Open champion shrugged off a side muscle injury to beat Milos Raonic in four sets and post his 300th match win in major tournaments. He next faces Alexander Zverev in the Australian Open quarterfinals. The other quarterfinal in that half of the draw is one that nobody saw coming. Grigor Dimitrov will be playing the No. 114-ranked Aslan Karatsev. The Russian qualifier is the first man in 25 years to reach the last eight in his Grand Slam debut.
