Emergency workers search for missing man who is in need of his medication

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Emergency crews are searching for a man with serious medical issues who has been missing since Sunday.

Raif Velic, 57, a white man who is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 125 pounds was last seen wearing a dark ball cap, dark vest, dark track pants and gray backpack, Warren County Emergency Management spokesman Tim Robinson said.

Velic went missing from his home at 1076 Pruitt Road in the Richardsville community Sunday morning. Some people have reported seeing Velic walking down Ky. 263 Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

“We’re trying to locate him to check his welfare and make sure he is OK because he doesn’t have any medication,” Robinson said.

Emergency management with assistance from Kentucky State Police are searching the area.
