Brian Duvall uses cookouts to feed and change kids’ lives
Serving the community comes in different forms.
For one resident of Bowling Green, lighting up the grill and serving food is his way.
However, his cookouts are for an incredible purpose.
Working at Parker Bennett, Brian Duvall sees many kids come to school hungry on a daily basis.
So, Duvall began to pray and asked God what he could do to make a difference.
After seeing a shirt in Walmart with "Team Jesus" on the front, he knew what he had to do.
Duvall then bought as many hot dogs, hamburgers, buns, and chips as he could.
He also called on others, such as his church and family, to help with his cause.
Now he has sponsors who contribute to ensuring kids in the community have full stomachs.
Duvall has two sons, who he enlists to help him feed neighboring kids with the cookouts.
Everything is free, and Duvall wants adults who need something to eat to come too.
This selfless act of kindness is the example the community needs to see.
Duvall hopes to make his cookouts an every Saturday ordeal.
He knows there will always be kids starving, and he plans to be there to feed them.
