Crews respond to vehicle fire at Bowling Green Junior High School

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Fire Department responded to a reported vehicle fire Wednesday morning.

According to Elyse Jonker, public information officer for the Bowling Green Fire Department, the fire occurred outside of Bowling Green Junior High School.

Jonker says the fire is under control and did not spread to the building.

According to an alert sent to families of students, classes have resumed after eighth grade classrooms were evacuated as a precaution.
