Authorities respond to reported gas leak in Adairville

ADAIRVILLE, Ky. – Authorities are responding to a report of a gas leak in Adairville Sunday morning.

According to the Adairville Police Department, the city’s Fire Department located a ruptured natural gas line beneath the roadway on Smith Avenue.

Residents were evacuated as a precaution.

Crews are currently at the scene working to repair the line.

Residents are asked to avoid the area.
