Logan County man charged with fleeing police, resisting arrest

LEWISBURG, Ky. – A Logan County man is charged with fleeing police after an incident on Wednesday.
According to a uniform citation, the Logan County Sheriff’s Department responded to a disturbance call.
Authorities say upon arrival, 56-year-old Roger Nash of Lewisburg ran across the backyard and climbed a fence.
According to the citation, a deputy then began pursuing Nash, who refused to stop despite commands.
Authorities say a taser was deployed, and after resisting arrest, Nash was taken into custody.
The deputy in the pursuit stated they were electrocuted by a fence during the incident.
Authorities say Nash had violated a court order due to where he was living and who he had contact with.
Nash remains at the Logan County Detention Center on charges of first-degree fleeing or evading police and resisting arrest.
