Falls City Brewing, Nappy Roots team up for special ale collaboration
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – A Louisville-based brewery is paying tribute to Bowling Green music legends.
Falls City Brewing Company and Nappy Roots are collaborating on a new ale called “AWNAW ALE NAW.”
The name is inspired by the hit single “AWE NAW.”
The brewery says the Belgian-style golden ale brings notes of notes of pear, orange, and lemon with a touch of spice, while spruce tips add a subtle “citrusy zing.”
Nappy Roots was formed while the members were students at Western Kentucky University in the 1990s.
Falls City is hosting a release party in Louisville Friday evening.
