Glasgow roadway set for long-term temporary closure to replace a culvert

GLASGOW, Ky. – A temporary road closure is expected in Barren County.

According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, a project to replace a culvert on KY 90 (Main Street) in Glasgow in Barren County is expected to begin Wednesday.

Officials say the project is expected to cause lane closures followed by a long-term temporary closure set to begin on Oct. 5.

KY 90 is expected to remain open with lane closures until the long-term temporary closure.

Officials say the long-term closure will be between Franklin Street and Morgan Street for approximately 45 days.

A signed detour will direct motorists to U.S. 68X (Broadway Street/Columbia Avenue), KY 1519 and the Louie B. Nunn Cumberland Expressway.
