Hart County WWII vet turns 100
HART COUNTY, Ky.- A Hart County native is celebrating his 100th birthday.
Lee Bratcher Jr. was born September 16th, 1926, making today a day of celebrating memories counting up to a century. Bratcher Jr. is a World War II Veteran, Deacon, Farmer, Father, Husband and more.
He’s witnessed commuting on horses all the way to the development of Ai. He celebrated with his children, staff and others at the Highland Ridge Assisted Living senior living home.
His children said it’s an honor seeing their dad reach a milestone he’s waited so long for.
“I was telling someone today that this is the first 100th birthday party ive been to and it’s my dad’s but it doesn’t surprise me. The life he’s lived and how he’s carried himself and the character he has, I just believe God’s blessed him,” said Don Bratcher, son of Lee Bratcher Jr.
Happy birthday Mr. Lee Bratcher Jr. and thank you for your service.
