Man arrested after stolen vehicle located in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – One man is behind bars after a stolen vehicle was located in Bowling Green.

According to a uniform citation, Bowling Green police responded Monday to a report of a FLOCK camera hit on a stolen vehicle.

Authorities say they observed the vehicle in the parking lot of Casey’s gas station at 810 Morgantown Road.

Police say they located and detained the driver, identified as 43-year-old Jason Scroggins of Albany, Kentucky.

During a vehicle search, authorities say they found used pipes and methamphetamine, as well as a stolen revolver.

Scroggins remains at the Warren County Regional Jail on charges of receiving stolen property between $1,000 and $10,000, receiving stolen property (firearm), operating on a suspended or revoked operators license, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine) and drug paraphernalia – buy/possess.
