Victory Hill Dream Center to receive $45K T-Mobile Hometown Grant

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – Victory Hill Dream Center, a local nonprofit, is among 26 organizations selected to receive a $45,000 grant.
According to an associate with T-Mobile, the grant will allow the nonprofit to rebuild and expand a heavily used community area to strengthen food access, safety and community connection. Victory Hill Dream Center provides food and other necessities, along with emergency shelter, to those in need in the Allen County community.
T-Mobile says the project was selected from over 2,000 applications.
Amy Payne, executive director of the Victory Hill Dream Center, said, “Every day I see the impact our Share Stations have on members of our community. Our goal at the Dream Center has always been to love people where they are without leaving them where they are at, and this investment from T-Mobile makes a tangible difference in helping families get the resources they need to find a pathway toward hope and stability.”
The Hometown Grants initiative has invested over $22.8 million in 500 community projects across 49 states, according to T-Mobile.
News 40 will have additional details on this project as they are released.
