Vine Grove man arrested on child sex crime charges following internet investigation

VINE GROVE, Ky. – A Hardin County man is facing child sex crime charges.

55-year-old Gray Eugene Middleton II was arrested by the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch following an undercover internet investigation.

KSP says Middleton was investigated after images depicting child sexual exploitation were found on his electronic equipment.

KSP obtained a search warrant for a home in Vine Grove on May 21.

Middleton was arrested, and the equipment used to commit the alleged crimes was seized.

Middleton is currently charged with ten counts of distribution of matter portraying a minor under 12 years old in a sexual performance.

He was lodged at the Hardin County Detention Center.

The investigation is ongoing.
