Muhlenberg County man charged with drug possession in Ohio County

ROCKPORT, Ky. – A Muhlenberg County man is charged with drug possession in Ohio County.

According to the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office, deputies executed a search warrant at a residence on Main Street in Rockport Wednesday evening.

Deputies located suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, and related drug paraphernalia during the search.

35-year-old Thomas Richie, of Central City, was arrested and was lodged at the Ohio County Detention Center.

Richie is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first-offense (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia – buy/possess

The investigation is ongoing.
