Multiple residents displaced after apartment fire in Hopkinsville

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – Multiple agencies fought an apartment fire in Hopkinsville early Wednesday morning.
According to a social media post by Hopkinsville Fire and EMS, firefighters from multiple stations were on scene around 1:28 a.m. on the 400 block of South Henderson Drive.
First responders say a caller reported the back of her apartment was on fire just before midnight on Tuesday.
According to first responders, firefighters arrived within four minutes and located an attached utility building on fire with flames visible through the roof.
The agency states all occupants exited the home, however, an ambulance was called to evaluate one adult female.
The home reportedly contained three individual apartments and sustained moderate damage.
According to first responders, firefighters contained the flames near the back of the home. Due to the damage, all tenants were displaced from the residence. The American Red Cross was called to provide them with assistance.
No firefighter injuries were reported.
