Hopkinsville police make arrests in alleged burglary case

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – Two men are charged with burglary in Hopkinsville.

According to a uniform citation, 21-year-old Deonquez Jordan-Ray of Hopkinsville and 20-year-old Jabaree Hinton of Clarksville, Tennessee were arrested on April 24.

Police say on March 2, both subjects “unlawfully” entered or remained in a residence “with the intent to commit a crime.” During this time, authorities say Jordan-Ray and Hinton removed a handgun, two shotguns, Nike shoes and an Xbox gaming system.

During an interview with law enforcement on Friday, authorities say both subjects admitted to involvement in the burglary.

Both are charged with first-degree burglary and remain at the Christian County Jail.
