Bowling Green Parks and Recreation seeking volunteers for tournament

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bowling Green Parks and Recreation is seeking volunteers for an upcoming tournament on Saturday, April 25.

Organizers say Bowling Green Special Olympics is hosting its Regional Special Olympics Track and Field Tournament, with the tournament concluding around 1 p.m.

Parks and recreation says it is looking for help to assist with timing track events, measuring and recording throwing distances and assisting with jumps.

Volunteers will check in at 7:30 a.m. that morning.

Organizers say they can work with volunteers’ schedules, and this will present a way to get service hours if needed.
