New York Times Bestselling author Jen Hatmaker to speak at The Capitol

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Bestselling author, podcaster and speaker Jen Hatmaker will appear at the Capitol by the Warren County Public Library on Thursday, April 30 at 6 p.m.
Organizers say Hatmaker will offer a free event, presented by the Warren County Public Library.
During her appearance, the library says she will discuss her newest book, “Awake: A Memoir,” released in September 2025. The library will give away 400 free copies of the book to attendees while supplies last.
According to the library, Hatmaker is a bestselling author, award-winning podcaster, speaker and advocate for women living in freedom and agency. She has written 15 books, including five New York Times bestsellers, and reaches millions through her writing, speaking engagements and digital platforms.
Her “For the Love podcast” and the Jen Hatmaker Book Club have built a large community of readers and listeners drawn to her mix of humor, vulnerability and insight, the libary says.
In “Awake: A Memoir,” organizers say Hatmaker shares the story of navigating the unexpected end of her 26-year marriage and the personal reinvention that followed. The book chronicles that experience in real time, offering a candid look at change, resilience and rebuilding a life.
The April 30 event will feature a moderated conversation with Hatmaker about the memoir and her writing, followed by an audience Q&A and a meet and greet with the author.
