2 winning Kentucky Lottery tickets unclaimed from Franklin

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Two winning Kentucky Lottery tickets stand to be claimed after recent Mega Millions and Powerball drawings.

According to lottery officials, a $30,000 Mega Millions ticket was sold at Thorntons at 4516 Poplar Level Road in Louisville from the Friday, March 13, 2026, drawing.

The ticket matched four white balls and the Mega Ball, winning $10,000, but the ticket had the 3X Multiplier, bringing the total prize to $30,000.

The Mega Millions numbers for March 13 were six, 19, 36, 40, 55 and the Mega Ball was nine.

According to the Kentucky Lottery, a $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold at Casey’s General Store at 315 S. Main St. in Franklin, Kentucky from the Saturday, March 14, 2026, drawing. The ticket matched four white balls and the Powerball, winning $50,000.

The Powerball numbers for March 14 were nine, 30, 42, 50, 52 and a Powerball of 21.

Officials say the winning ticket was a free $2 Powerball as part of an ongoing promotion. The Best of Both Promotion offers players who buy $10 or more on Mega Millions a free $2 Powerball Quick Pick. This is the second time in the last several months that a free $2 ticket has produced a $50,000 win, lottery officials say.

The ticket is the second winning Powerball ticket sold in Simpson County in the last few months, lottery officials say. A $100,000 ticket was sold at Sudden Service in Franklin from the December 8, 2025, drawing. The ticket is still unclaimed.

The Kentucky Lottery advises the winners to:

• Sign the back of their tickets.
• Keep them in a secure location.
• Claim their prize within 180 days from the date of the drawing.

Winners must claim their prizes at lottery headquarters at 1011 W. Main St. in Louisville.

There was no winner of the Powerball Jackpot, currently estimated at $88 million. The next drawing will take place at 11 p.m. EST on Monday, March 16, 2026.

There was also no winner of the Mega Millions Jackpot, currently estimated at $60 million. The next drawing will take place at 11 p.m. EST on Tuesday, March 17, 2026
