Christian Co. man flown for treatment after motorcycle crash

CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. (WKDZ Radio) – A Christian County man was flown for treatment following a motorcycle crash Friday afternoon.
According to a report by WKDZ Radio, the wreck occurred on the 700 block of Pembroke Fairview Road in Fairview.
Christian County sheriff’s deputies say a motorcyclist was traveling northbound around 12:34 p.m. when wind caused him to lose control of the motorcycle before running into a ditch, WKDZ states.
WKDZ further reports Hopkinsville Fire Department spokesman Capt. Payton Rogers says the motorcyclist was transported by Hopkinsville EMS to a helicopter to be flown to TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee for back injuries.
The Fairview Fire Department also assisted law enforcement at the scene.
