Bowling Green man charged with burglary

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – One man is behind bars after an alleged burglary at a Bowling Green residence.
According to a uniform citation, the Bowling Green Police Department responded just before 4 a.m. Wednesday to a residence on Campbell Lane regarding a burglary in progress.
Police say they had been at the residence around 10:30 p.m. the night prior due to a report of a prowler.
Upon arrival, officers say 29-year-old Nickali Tidwell of Bowling Green flagged them down, stating he owned the home and all vehicles on site.
Police say they spoke to the resident and caller, who stated she had seen a male figure walk by her garage. Initially, police say the caller stated officers had arrived and not located a subject.
According to the citation, the caller stated she heard a voice outside of her window later that night and banging near her room.
Authorities say they searched the caller’s garage, locating items she stated were not hers.
Police say they confirmed all vehicles on site belonged to the female resident.
Authorities say Tidwell was detained and stated a backpack found in the garage was his. Tidwell was placed into custody.
Authorities say they located a glass pipe with residue in the backpack, along with additional items.
Tidwell remains at the Warren County Regional Jail.
He faces charges of third-degree burglary, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (drug unspecified), drug paraphernalia – buy/posses and theft by unlawful taking or disposition all others .
