Elkton man arrested after allegedly driving motorcycle recklessly with child onboard

ELKTON, Ky. – An Elkton man is charged after allegedly driving recklessly with a child on his motorcycle.
According to a uniform citation, the Todd County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by Adairville Police Chief Aaron Ashby on Tuesday.
Ashby says he conducted a traffic stop of a motorcycle after observing it traveling in the wrong direction and entering the shoulder of 68 KY-80 at the Christian and Todd county line.
Ashby says he was traveling for a work training.
Ashby pursued the motorcycle and conducted a traffic stop, and contacted TCSO.
The motorcyclist was identified as 25-year-old Jonas Stoltzfus, of Elkton.
During the investigation, TCSO arrested Stoltzfus and located a butterfly knife and brass knuckles in his possession, according to the citation.
Stoltzfus was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, carrying a concealed weapon, reckless driving, and instructional permit violations.
The investigation is ongoing.
