Bowling Green police to conduct traffic safety checkpoints on Friday

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Police Department says it will be conducting traffic safety checkpoints on Friday, Feb. 13.

Police say they will occur at the following locations:

• 800 Block of Lovers Lane
• 1700 Block of the U.S. 31-W Bypass
• 3100 Block of Louisville Road
• 1400 Block of Adams Street

Officers say they will operate checkpoints at one location before moving to others throughout the evening, beginning at 11 p.m. and continuing until 3 a.m.

The checkpoints aim to ensure the safety of all drivers to prevent impaired driving, according to police.
