Harlan County man sentenced to 60 years for child sexual abuse material production

LONDON, Ky. – A Harlan County man is facing 60 years in prison in connection with production of child sexual abuse material.

According to a release by the United States Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of Kentucky, 42-year-old Brandon Farley was sentenced following his previous conviction of two counts of production of child pornography.

The release further states Farley “sexually abused a minor that was in his care and took photos of that abuse.”

According to the release, Farley will be required to serve 85% of his prison sentence. Upon release from prison, he will be under the supervision of the U.S. Probation Office for life, the release states.

Farley remains at the Harlan County Detention Center on a $100,000 cash bond, according to court records.
