Bridal Expo returns Sunday to Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WNKY) – Couples preparing for their big day will have a one-stop opportunity to plan, browse and book when the Southern Kentucky Bridal Expo returns to Bowling Green this weekend.

The event brings together dozens of wedding vendors at the Knicely Conference Center, including businesses focused not only on venues and décor, but also on health, beauty and wellness.

Select Health and The Drip Bar are among this year’s sponsors. Faith Knight, office manager at Select Health, said the expo gives businesses a chance to reach people who may not otherwise walk through their doors.

“It’s great to be in the public eye and be able to answer questions from people who may not come into the office,” Knight said. “We can give them information and hopefully turn them into new clients.”

Lena Gokey, owner of Select Health and co-owner of The Drip Bar, said her business has grown alongside the expo and now offers a wide range of services aimed at helping couples look and feel their best before a wedding.

“We now do weight loss, primary care, IV hydration, esthetics, just complete total wellness from the inside out,” Gokey said.

Both said the expo is about more than just sales, it’s also about community and connection.

“It’s one of the best events we have in this community,” Gokey said. “It’s a fun time. Families are there. Everybody’s together.”

The Southern Kentucky Bridal Expo runs Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Knicely Conference Center.
