Multiple fire departments respond to structure fire in Alvaton
ALVATON, Ky. – Multiple fire departments responded to a structure fire Friday morning.
According to a social media release, the Alvaton Fire Department was clearing a grass fire when it received a dispatch at 4:27 am to a house fire with a person inside on Old Scottsville Road.
The release states that firefighters arrived and located a golf cart on fire in the garage of the home.
The firefighters extinguished the fire and ventilated the garage.
AFD reports that the scene has been cleared and no injuries have been reported.
Bowling Green, Plano, Woodburn, and Gott Fire Departments, as well as Medical Center EMS, assisted.
