1 injured in 2-vehicle accident in Glasgow

GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Police Department investigated a two-vehicle accident.
Major Terry Flatt says officers responded to a collision on Columbia Avenue on Tuesday.
Officers say Ada Bowles was attempting to exit the Hardees Parking Lot onto Columbia Avenue.
Bowles’ vehicle drove into the path of a vehicle driven by Betty Franklin.
Franklin was driving southbound on Columbia Avenue.
Franklin was injured in the crash.
She was transported to TJ Samson Community Hospital for treatment.
Barren/Metcalfe EMS and the Glasgow Fire Department assisted at the scene.
