Med Center Health Foundation hosting Make the Season Bright tree lightings

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – An annual tradition is back this year with Med Center Health Foundation’s Make the Season Bright Program.
According to a release by Med Center Health, the program offers a unique way to honor a loved one while also supporting health-centered missions for patients and their families. Make the Season Bright is a fundraiser to benefit Med Center Health Foundation initiatives in each community.
This year’s celebration begins Dec. 1 and will include festive events at each Med Center Health hospital location. Events are free and open to the public.
Celebrations will take place in Albany, Bowling Green, Horse Cave, Franklin, Russellville and Scottsville.

- 6:30 p.m.: Lighting of the Hospitality House

Until Jan. 5, community members may purchase a light that will be displayed on the tree in honor, celebration, or memory of a loved one. Lights are available at $10, $25, $50, or $100 levels in Bowling Green, Franklin, Horse Cave, Russellville, and Scottsville. In Albany, a $20 donation adds a poinsettia to the Poinsettia Tree that will be on display in the hospital lobby. All proceeds will benefit patient-centered Foundation initiatives in each respective community.
Donations to The Medical Center at Bowling Green’s Make the Season Bright will support the Hospitality House, a “home-away-from home” for patients and families of those receiving care at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
