Franklin Police Department hosting food drive through November

FRANKLIN, Ky. – The Franklin Police Department is responding to a different kind of call this November.

This month, the department is partnering with Good Samaritan to host a food drive from November 10 through Nov. 30.

Canned food donations and other non-perishables can be dropped off in the lobby of the police department, which can be found at 501 W. Madison St. in Franklin.

Items needed include canned food, rice, pasta, canned soups  and dry cereals.
