Mega Millions hits ‘scary’ high jackpot for Halloween drawing

(CNN) – Someone could win a frightening amount of money this Halloween without any tricks or treats.

On Friday, the Mega Millions jackpot is worth $754 million.

That’s the largest amount the lottery has ever been on All Hallows’ Eve, and it could be yours if you correctly pick all six numbers.

A one-time payment of just under $353 million could also be chosen instead. Now that’s a lot of candy.

Mega Millions has previously held six drawings on Halloween but has never had a winner on those days.
