Highland Hills Community Church holding ‘food offering’ donation drive

GLASGOW, Ky. – Highland Hills Community Church is one of many local groups hosting a food drive to support its community.

The church says it is hosting a food offering donation drive on Sunday, Nov. 2 and Nov. 9.

According to church, this is an offering, and donations should be placed at the altar of the church.

The church asks community members to bring normal-sized portions and to check expiration dates before donating food.

Items needed include non-perishables, such as canned chicken, canned tuna, apple sauce, instant oatmeal, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, all pasta, canned salmon, and more.
