Glasgow firefighters respond to weekend house fire

GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Fire Department responded to a weekend house fire.

According to a release by the department, Glasgow firefighters were dispatched around 3:30 p.m. to a reported structure fire off of the 300 block of Frazier Avenue.

Upon arrival, first responders say they observed heavy fire conditions in the front room of the home.

Officials say the fire was quickly extinguished, and no one was home at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported.

Units were on scene about two hours total, officials say.
