Street paving projects underway, may create traffic delays in Franklin

FRANKLIN, Ky. – Several paving projects are underway in Simpson County.
The City of Franklin says Scotty’s Contracting and Stone began milling streets, ahead of paving, on Monday.
Several roadways may experience traffic delays.
These include Walker Street, Quail Ridge Road, N. Court Street, E. Washington Street, Fairview Avenue, Crestmore Drive, Bank Alley, Library Alley, Vonda View Boulevard, and Bennington Place.
City officials ask motorists to use caution when driving on the roadways.
Work is expected to last two weeks.
