Leitchfield man allegedly threatens to kill Grayson County officials

LEITCHFIELD, Ky. – A Leitchfield man was arrested after allegedly sending death threats to local officials.

According to a report by K105, William C. “Buddy” Howell, 56, of Leitchfield, was arrested at his home following an investigation by Kentucky State Police.

Following an investigation, KSP says Howell sent death threats to County Attorney for Grayson County Jeremy Logsdon, Clarkson Police Chief Buck Meredith, who is also running for Grayson County Sheriff, and a Grayson County woman.

Howel is charged with four counts of third-degree terroristic threatening and was lodged at the Grayson County Detention Center.

The investigation is ongoing.
